We absolutely love this place! Friendly staff to great you and serve up some tasty breakfast! Their Carmel nut French toast is my favorite and my husband ordered the Dream. We have been coming here for three years

Good vibes here, love the friendly staff that tries to make you feel like a local. Huge menu, decent pricing, upbeat diner-like atmosphere with the kitsch of the stuffed bear interiors. I normally get breakfast here. Their pancakes are excellent. Especially the honey and granola pancakes! The texture is fluffy and they douse it in syrup. So, ask for it on the side if you don't want a lot. They smell heavenly and you can smell them before the waitress brings them over, they are a real treat! If you really want to go all out they'll even add whipped cream and strawberries to the top if you want, so good!

My family and I visited the Hungry Bear on Mother's Day. We found this upbeat but quaint establishment that brought back memories from the photos and bears displayed. We had a little bit of a wait but we also knew that the food and hospitality was going to be great, so we didn't mind. Need I say that the portions of food were ginormous and don't get me wrong we ate up every little bite. A week later we were talking about where we should go for brunch and my youngest granddaughter said we can go back to the Hungry Bear. We live closer to downtown Denver but guaranteed will be back soon. This place is definitely a 10 out of 10!!!

It's places like this that make me wish we could rate by the half star, and I would've given a 4, but the pie sold me on a 5 star. This place is so well themed, it's a nice small place. Service can be a bit slow, but it's run by a small tightknit group, and everything is made from scratch, so while it may be slow, everything food wise is of really good quality. Also, I cannot recommend the strawberry cream pie enough, what a fantastic treat to eat! Definitely consider giving this place a try if you're driving by!

5/5 The pancakes were AMAZING. I had the very berry blueberry pancake, eggs over east, coffee, and a side of toast. I can't stress how good the pancakes are. Allot of food for a good price. Will return whenever I am in the area.

Visited The Hungry Bear from central Missouri and there was not a single regret about the decision. We were seated immediately, our server Robbin was incredible, food was hot and delicious, and to top it off the bathrooms were so clean! Would definitely come back!

I like this place a lot. There’s a nice atmosphere, even being busy, it didn’t feel chaotic, our waitress and the rest of the staff were calm and very friendly. Despite being busy, we didn’t have a wait to be seated, though I’m sure at times there will be. The food was delicious and came out in a timely manner. They have a good menu and I’ll definitely be back as there are several other items I want to try.
